Thats how it feels looking at this capture of The Buddha. Are the surroundings of the idol here result of PP?

@Punit: Glad to hear that it instills some peace for you. The background is canvas and the distressed overlays were applied in PS.
I'm in my Zen period so this talks to me, superb peaceful presence you have in your office...

I love your light-painting images for their quality which is difficult to describe, but there is a poetry to them. This one of Buddha is very nice, and the gold textural border adds to the image without being intrusive. Lovely.

@karla: Thanks, karla. Browsed your images and you have a wonderful sensitivity to the quality of light. Well balanced composition and gentle use of texture as well.
I like the grungy tones they really accentuate the buddha.
