So ...

My mothers sewing chest. Those are packets of needles from the 1930's or 40's. Have not idea what the little tools are or if their even related to sewing. So ....

Many thanks for visiting and though I may not always reply to your comments, know that they are greatly appreciated.

Larry, the tool with the wooden handle and the round serrated end - that is used to mark sewing lines on fabric. You took a piece of paper which had some chalk-like substance embedded in it - put the paper on top of the fabric, and rolled the wheel along the paper to transfer a sewing mark on the fabric. I used this tool back in the day. It is not THAT old! I guess one would call it a seam marker, yes I think that is what we called it.

@Barbara Lee: Thanks Barbara. I can see now how it would work. And yes, I'm sure that not all of the treasures found in the drawers date back to mothers youth. :))

That wheel tool is for perforating a paper pattern over cloth after which you can chalk the lines I do believe to leave your pattern on the fabric before cutting. Is the pointy thing your chalk? Not sure.. and that metal thing whatever that is just looks cool. I like touring your house :D You have interesting old things like we do!
