Pretty Prickly Thing

Not up on my thistleology, so I don't really know what kind this is. But, I did think it looked nice.

This is wonderful, Larry! So sharp and so well lit. Kinda reminds me of the thistles I photographed the other day, but I love the unfolding of this one. Just great!

i also cannot tell you what the name of the thiste is but i always found that thistles are so beautiful filigree, that they should photographed much more often. this one is so perfectly captured by you, like couvered with light like a coat.

It's one of those.. those.. things! I know what they are but I don't know the name either. We have them too! Nice shot of a green one. I usually photograph them brown.
